Especially as a scientific management means of modern production, it has penetrated into the fields of economy, technology and science. It plays a very important role in the development of production and social progress. It is not only an effective weapon to break the technical barriers to trade and occupy the international market, It is also an important means to mediate imports and protect the national economy. first, the standardization of the international printing industry began in the 1960s

the standardization of the printing industry provides a guarantee for the profits and technological progress of the printing industry all over the world. International standards related to printing technology are mainly formulated by the printing technology committee (TC130) under the international organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO/TC130 was founded in 1969, and its main scope of work involves the standardization of terms, technical specifications and test methods for the performance of raw and auxiliary materials used in printing, including prepress, printing and post press processing from originals to printed products. Today, ISO/TC 130 has five professional working groups, which are responsible for the preparation and revision of international standards in their respective fields. From the content of international standards formulated by ISO/TC 130, the following types of standards can be summarized

1. terminology standard. Terminology Standard is the most basic standard and the premise and foundation for technical exchange and cooperation

2. Prepress data exchange format standard. This kind of standard is a new standard formulated in recent years with the development and wide application of digital prepress technology and web publishing technology. It mainly stipulates the structure and technical requirements of different data formats used for cross application software and cross platform transmission of graphic information in the printing and publishing industry

3. printing process control standard. This kind of standard is also a widely used basic standard and plays an important role in TC 130. It mainly stipulates the technical requirements and inspection methods of key quality parameters in the printing production process

4. Adaptability standard of printing raw and auxiliary materials. These standards mainly stipulate the relevant printing performance requirements of raw and auxiliary materials such as inks, substrates and plates used in the printing production process

5. Ergonomics/safety standards. At present, the number of such standards is relatively small, which are the safety requirements of the printing system of the printing machine, the safety specifications of the binding and finishing system, and the symbol marking standards of the printing equipment

second, there is still a big gap in China's participation in the international standardization of the printing industry

after China's death, the printing industry is also facing an increasingly competitive international economic environment. Whether we can withstand this huge pressure and challenge, the success or failure of standardization work will be an important factor. At present, there is still a certain gap between China's printing standardization work and that of foreign developed countries. Due to the late start of China's printing standardization work, the restrictions of relevant technical levels and the influence of the planned economy model, coupled with the weak standardization awareness of domestic printing enterprises, the standard technology level is low, unable to keep up with market changes and the needs of enterprise development, and the proportion of adopting international standards and foreign advanced standards is low, The standardization management is weak

in 1990, China established the National Printing Standardization Technical Committee, and since 1991, it has officially participated in the work of ISO/TC 130 as a p member (an active member). After more than 10 years of efforts in the whole industry, China's participation in TC130 has also achieved certain results. Over the years, China has sent personnel to participate in the annual meeting of ISO/TC 130 for many times. At present, China is also responsible for the drafting and formulation of Chinese standards for the international standard project of multilingual printing technical terms. By the end of 2003, the National Printing Standardization Technical Committee had formulated and revised 55 national and industrial standards, including about 20 international standards and foreign advanced standards, with a standard acquisition rate of 36%. However, the conversion rate of international standards during the Tenth Five Year Plan period required by the National Standardization Administration Committee reached 3 The maximum load bearing capacity of the tensile testing machine during the beam test is improved; There is still a gap of about 70%

from the perspective of China's participation in the work of TC 130 as a whole, there are few international standard projects that can be put forward and participated in the formulation at present. Many work can neither participate in nor put forward specific opinions, let alone form China's national standards and industrial standards into international standards in some fields. We can only passively track the work of TC 130 and copy and adopt international standards

the main reasons for the above problems are not only the objective factors that there is a certain gap between the development level of domestic related technology and the international level, but also the subjective factors that the printing industry does not pay attention to this work. This makes China's printing industry fall into a vicious circle in which the less attention we pay to standardization, the less we can improve industrial competitiveness. The huge return of standardization work often needs to be reflected in the long-term and overall development. If we want to take the lead in international standards, we must raise the standardization work to a strategic height, and we need to work actively and solidly. We need colleagues in the whole industry to have a correct understanding and long-term vision of standardization work

4. Consistency, that is, standardization activities should be consistent, and overlap or contradiction should be avoided

5. relevance, that is, the standard should be relevant, conform to the agreed guidelines, and meet the actual needs by providing added value

6. adaptability, that is, the standard should be a reflection of the real world. It is not only necessary to make effective use of the latest available technology, but also not necessary to abandon existing products or technologies

at present, the main contents involved in China's standardization work are:

in terms of product standards, transforming production-oriented standards into trade-oriented standards, and adopting international standards and foreign advanced standards as much as possible, which can lay a good foundation for opening up the international market. Especially in terms of patents, enterprises should try their best to formulate technical standards with independent intellectual property rights to form a dominant position

in terms of conformity assessment, we should timely track TBT notifications, understand customer demand feedback, timely track market requirements, and actively implement a number of quality certifications, so as to obtain a pass for goods to enter domestic and foreign markets
